It’s Basement Photo Friday! These basement ceiling tiles are not your old school speckled popcorn

Basement Photo Friday is arriving early this week due to the July 4th holiday beginning tomorrow.

This photo is of a beautiful and stylish ceiling.   Believe it or not, this ceiling is actually a suspended (drop) ceiling.  Are you surprised?

Suspended/drop ceiling tiles have come a long way since they were first introduced.  Most office buildings, and even older homes, that have drop ceilings have tiles that are speckled with shades of grey and pock marked too.  These older styled tiles are definitely not the  most attractive option for a finished basement!
