Floor Cracks
Basement floor cracks occur for a number of reasons. Shrinkage during original construction is the most common. Other causes include settling of soil beneath the floor or upward water pressure.
Whatever the cause, sealing floor cracks is not recommended, as it will only create further problems elsewhere. Instead, we recommend installing our patented "GrateDrain" Drainage System, which is designed to help alleviate this pressure by giving the water a preferable path to travel.
Our "GrateDrain" Sub-Floor Drainage System is the most common solution for this problem. The system relieves the upward pressure by collecting the water beneath the floor and directing it to a sump pump.
This system comes with a Transferable Lifetime Warranty, which guarantees you will have a dry basement.
Our office will be happy to discuss with you the benefits of the "GrateDrain" system.
